Fun
What is this mysterious thing that has eluded you? Do you remember it? Before long hours at work, spouses and partners, caring for children, Chaperoning children, volunteering, and so many other adult responsibilities, there was Fun. Hmm, so where do you find it? How do you call it back home? Hey Fun where are you? You may be thinking, I am too busy to have Fun or how much will having Fun cost me? Well having. Fun doesn’t have to be an outing and it doesn’t have to be expensive. Here are a few Fun suggestions:
- Sing along to some of your favorite songs (not the sad ones)
- Dance to your favorite music
- Tell a joke Listen to a joke
- Write a joke
- Watch a funny movie or a funny TV show,
- Read a funny book.
- Play a game with your family or some friends.
- Spend time with people or an animal you enjoy.
- Get out some crayons or markers and paper. Draw something funny then give the picture to someone, Hey Crayons are not just for kids.
You may feel guilty about having fun or feel its not productive or a waste of time, but having fun definitely has its benefits. Having fun makes you feel happy, more energized, helps relieve stress, and increases your social interactions if you do it with friends or family. So do something that makes you smile, learn to play again, and don’t forget to have fun.
